Help me give my students a terrific year in Kindergarten math! I am teaching math for the first time and need some supplies to make it a spectacular year for the students.

My Project

I have taught Pre-Kindergarten for the last five years. I'm moving to Kindergarten for next school year to teach math and science. I want each child to have their own set of crayons to use and be responsible for. Teaching is more than the subject. I’m teaching them to be good citizens of our school and having something like a crayon box to take care of and use appropriately is age appropriate.

My goal is for my students to leave Kindergarten loving math and science.

They come from low socio-economic backgrounds, but that doesn't mean they can learn and love what they are learning. Kinders are easily excitable so I will use the breathing bear to help them calm themselves.

I want them to have a solid foundation in math and science as they begin their early academic years.
