My students need an incubator to help watch the process of life.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lacey's classroom raised $351
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I remember the first time I witnessed a chick cracking out of an egg ! I could not believe it. I would like my class to experience the same thing . So often they read about the life cycle and we create projects but to witness it would be fantastic.
I work at a Title One school and 97% of the students are on free or reduced lunch.
That does not affect the energy and drive that my students have. We are constantly working with rigor to find out new and exciting things . We have the motivation and patience to witness the life cycle of the chick.
My Project
I am requesting an incubator so that my class can experience first hand the life cycle of a chick. We will observe the stages of the chicken and it will be a FURRY VENGEANCE for my class. We will journal each day and have a written journal on the life cycle of the chicken.
Can you help us get cracking?
This donation will improve writing skills as well as science skills. With this donation we will become expert life scientists. My students are waiting for the donation to get started.
