My Project

Black history month is approaching soon and what better way to kick off the month with African American literature! My kiddos are so excited about reading and exploring books and their contents, I knew that getting each and every scholar an African American book of their own would bring them joy. My kiddos consist of 100% African American students, and we have been working hard on building our classroom library with literature that respects them and their culture. With this class set, each scholar will have their very own book that they can keep and explore any time of the year.
