This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students absolutely love to learn. We have already been inspired to learn about other cultures and give to others who have less. Given the background my students have, this is an amazing feat.
My students come from poverty themselves and often have worries no child should have.
These outside worries can carry over into class and make it difficult to focus. I want to provide my students with the best environment possible so they can be well rounded citizens.
My Project
My students are interested and curious students. However, all of them are different and unique in their own way. Having iPads in our classroom can help with differentiation. Students can play fun educational games that will challenge them at their academic level, in areas that they as an individual can use help with!
The iPads also will teach them digital citizenship, online safety, word processing, and research skills.
iPads will motivate my students all around. Behavior, motivation and engagement is what would result from having a set of iPads. Donations to this project would change the classroom dynamics! With a set of iPads, even more students will be exposed to differentiated learning daily.
