My Students
When you walk into my classroom, you will see 18 energetic kids full of enthusiasm to learn. We love exploring numbers and letters using different sensory tools and centers!
My students are active learners who learn best through active play, hands-on activities, and collaborative conversations.
We have a strong community in our classroom. We work hard every day to become smart mathematicians, readers, and storytellers. We love to share our stories with our friends and families.
As their teacher, my goal is to always provide them a supportive learning environment and an equitable classroom by making sure they have what they need to be successful in kindergarten.
My Project
The material I am requesting will be used by my students to access different reading apps like SeeSaw. This particular platform is free and allows my students to take pictures or videos of their work and share with their families. I plan to make this iPad available for math centers and word work. For now, our access to SeeSaw is limited because I am using my own personal cellphone. With a designated class iPad, students will have more opportunities to access this free online learning.

I already received so many great feedback from families who enjoy watching their child grow in the classroom. It's a great family connection tool.
In this project, I am only aiming to get ONE iPad for our classroom in the hopes that it can get funded right away. We would love to get our device as soon as possible. Help us close the opportunity gap by providing us this tool to increase engagement and achievement.
