My Students

We live in a rural area of Oklahoma, and many of my students come from high-poverty homes. Despite their different home situations, they all come to school eager to learn. All of my students are wonderful, energetic, and eager learners! I am always seeking quality resources that will provide them with the best education possible for the time they are in my care. I would love to add these new supplies to our classroom to give them the best opportunity to learn!

My Project

Adding a new iPad mini to our classroom would provide multiple learning applications and opportunities to my young students' lives. I am working to complete an iPad mini center for one of our stations during our math and literacy time.

Many of our learning objectives will be reinforced using the math and literacy games on the iPad, this will help them apply new skills taught from our curriculum.

This new center will replace our remaining computers that are old and outdated. We will use the iPad Mini and its technological capabilities to coincide with our reading and math curriculum. New learning games which are exciting and on point for any learning objective are constantly being added in the Apple app store. The students love practicing our curriculum when technology is involved. The protective cover will ensure our equipment stays safe for future students in the years to come.

The addition of this technology will provide my students with amazing opportunities to learn how to read and do math in a way that is up to date with current technology. Many of my students are not exposed to this type of technology at home due to their impoverished situations. With your help, you can give them the opportunity to experience this technology while they are here at school. Giving to this project would mean so much to my young students.
