Help me give my students Chromebooks for the opportunity to expand their digital learning. Adding computers to our whole group learning environment will enhance their learning experiences and will provide independent learning.
My students are amazing! Three-fourths of my students come from lower-income households, but they don't let that get in their way, despite the struggles they may face outside of school.
I have a great desire to keep my students fully engaged in learning.
As a fifth grade teacher, in a Title l school, it is my job to help my students find their intrinsic motivation for learning and how to apply their knowledge in real-world situations. I am always looking for unique and hands-on ways to make learning fun!
My Project
Having Chromebooks in the classroom will directly impact my student's ability to differentiate their learning. When using them they will have the opportunity to explore their own strengths and weakness. It will also allow them to take responsibility for their own learning in a classroom setting. Chromebooks in my classroom will support independent learning which will also drive social-emotional outcomes, because they have built confidence and independence in their learning process. This will also help them in their future endeavors. They will be used for iReady, iXL, writing projects, spelling tests and so very much more.
