My students need circuit kits to engage them in an exciting, hands-on introduction to electronics. These kits will provide an entertaining concrete education on how circuits work.

My Students
The school is situated in a rural area on the western most part of O'ahu, Hawaii. We serve a high-poverty population of students who lack reliable transportation and for most of them, it is difficult to get the basic school supplies that are needed to learn. They face daily challenges and desperately need our support and care. Please join me in supporting our students that need a leg up in society. I believe education is a priority and it should not be hindered for those that come from low socio-economic statuses.
My Project
Building a circuit is not the same as reading about how to build a circuit! With the new afterschool STEM program, we want to engage students and ignite their discovery with fun and exciting, hands-on experiences where they can unleash their scientific curiosities! With these circuit kits students will be given the tools they need to utilize their creativity and create working electronic circuits and devices.
Our students need to be provided with more opportunities to experiment, build, test, and explore science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) principles with hands-on activities and projects where they will be able to see, experience, and engage with STEM concepts in ways that bring science to life.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
