This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a Pre-Kindergarten teacher at a Title I school just outside of Lubbock, TX, where 80% of our students come from low-income families. I am passionate about being a Pre-K teacher because I get to help students build a strong foundation for their educational journey.
I am seeking materials to create hands-on learning stations that engage my students in diverse and interactive ways.
These items will be a valuable addition to my classroom, enabling students to develop math and science skills while exploring and having fun.
I am excited to incorporate engaging activities that promote both enjoyment and learning. The Can Do! Science activities will provide opportunities for students to explore their surroundings and learn about the world. Additionally, I have included counting and number-related items to help them develop a sense of numeracy in a fun, hands on experience.
