This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through this project, I want to create a challenging, exciting, and creative classroom for my students, often underrepresented in gifted and talented programs across the United States. Help me fill my classroom with challenging and engaging STEM activities.
Students will learn to use the Engineering Design Process, while collaborating with their peers, to solve real life STEM problems.
Please help me challenge a new generation of STEM leaders with these exciting STEM units and activities. Your donation will help underrepresented students find their passion to develop their engineering skills. Students will enjoy learning about the engineering design process with the building blocks and simple machines kits.
Students will then use their new engineering skills to solve real life "issues" with the Oil Spill, Energy Crisis, and Water Shortage projects.
