Help me give my students a variety of books such as "If You Take a Mouse to School" "If You Give a Dog a Donut" and "Should I Share My Ice Cream?" to take home and read!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, we like to have a Lending Library for our students to pick a book and bring home to read with their loved ones.
Utilizing a Lending Library in our classroom ensures that the student's learning extends to their house, in case they do not have access to developmentally appropriate books at home, that allow them to enhance their love for reading at home and school!
We do have some books for our Lending Library, but it has been a while since we have replenished our Lending Library with good-quality books. That is why I am requesting "If You Give A" book series such as "If You Give a Dog a Donut," "If You Give a Moose a Muffin," and "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" so our preschoolers have the option to take them home and read it with their families!
