Help me give my students some wired mice to use with their chrome books for remote learning. Many of my students cannot use the touchpad to complete their assignments...they are having a lot of difficulty.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are special because they love to come to school each day! On weekends or school breaks, I will ask the students if they had a good time off, and a lot will say no because they missed school and their teachers. It is heartwarming and humbling because, for a lot of students, school is the best part of their lives. They know they have people at school who genuinely care about them and want the best for them.
My students need help buying supplies as many of them cannot afford the necessities to be prepared every day for school.
This is a fact of life for many of them, so I need to use unconventional ways to obtain what they would deem an extra supply, but for my technology class, I deem a necessity.
The school I teach in is a wonderful generational neighborhood. A lot of my current students are the offspring of my former students. In addition, many of the teachers have been teaching at this same school for decades, myself included. It is really a wonderful school to teach in with amazing students and staff members to spend my days with.
My Project
My students are working remotely currently, and soon they will be doing hybrid learning. A lot of my students are having a difficult time use the touchpad on the chrome books, and they need wired mice to make their educational process easier and more manageable for them. Can you please help provide my students with this basic necessity to make their work easier to do and more manageable for their parents? Purchasing these mice for my students will really be making a world of difference in their educational lives!
