This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have 4 chargers for 21 computers. Each morning I come in early and immediately switch out four more computers. This year after my students arrive, we have our morning meeting, and then students are off to their special. I then switch out another 4 Chromebooks to recharge. When students come back I go into literacy. Two stations that we use in guided reading require us to go on the computer. I then hope that the computers I am currently charging have enough of a charge to help my students as I pull a small group. If students are absent at times I have given those charged computers to other students who I couldn't get to. I am not supposed to do this as each student has been assigned to a specific computer, but I have a few options. I have even let students use my computer so that they can access their programs. My charger for my computer is currently one of the 4 charges that I use for all of my kids.

I would love to be able to charge all of my student's Chromebooks and my computer so that when we come in the next day, they are ready to go.
