My Project
Hello Donors,
I am a first year Kindergarten teacher of English as a New Language student, and SPED students.
In Kindergarten students have been learning their letters/ letter sounds to progressively begin to read cvc (consonant vowel consonant) words such as: cat, dog, bat, get, etc.
In order to build reading fluency, I would like to use bingo chips in elkonin boxes to have students segment and blends cvc words. Also the linking letter cubes would also help students to build and read cvc words with automaticity instead of segmenting words.
