This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We have been building our collection of games and activities in our Middle School Library program to create a fun and welcoming space for students to come before school, during lunch, and after school. Our students loved our collaborative coloring station and puzzles, but we were looking to add additional STEM based options for them to choose from. We introduced Magna-Tiles, and they were a hit!! We need more to keep up with the demand, so our students can explore and create in the library.
These Magna-Tiles will be added to our available STEM activity options to provide students with opportunities to explore engineering concepts while they build, create, and play as part of our library program.
