My students are inspiring kids. They are caring, friendly, and welcoming. They enjoy being in each other's company and value their classmates. They are excited to learn and it shows in how hard they work.
Learning today is much different than before.
There needs to be a focus on STEM education in order to keep up with the jobs of the future. My students need meaningful and unique STEM experiences to help them think outside of the box.
My Project
Inspiration can strike at a moment's notice. Being able to give students a chance to design and build something that will inspire them will give them memories to last a lifetime. In order to give students that opportunity, we need to have a way to build.
Giving my students a MakerBot SKETCH will give them the opportunity to showcase their imagination.
A STEM lab is the incorporation of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. All of these subjects are addressed with a 3D printer. Students can use their science and math skills to bring an idea to life.
