My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They arrive excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students, culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It has become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

Our school has astounding students: girls and boys alike!

In fact, there are more girls in our gifted science program than ever before! If I can challenge my students, especially my girls, then they can go beyond the norm by exploring all of the science, technology, engineering and math opportunities out there. I hope that they will let their imaginations fly in the future knowing that they can do anything.

My Project

Our school is lucky; we have outstanding scholars. Many of these students are girls who are now involved in our gifted program. There are so many activities planned that will showcase these girls' talents in the STEM areas.

I've included in this project microscopes and a variety of slides to give my girls (and boys) the experience of looking deeper than the surface of things around them.

I would also like to give them notebooks to keep track of their research.

I want to make sure that our learning environment is safe for them to work in. I hope to provide each student with an experience to see how far they can go!
