This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are happy to learn. I have made my Science and Computer Science classes a place where learning is fun. For many years our student population with visual needs has increased. The use of a short throw projector and light rejecting screen will enlarge the images enough to help all our students read what is being projected and be able to learn better.

The classroom has five rows of desks and the students with glasses (or need glasses) fill up the first three rows.

I now have students with those same needs sitting in row four. Using a projector and screen will allow all the students to learn from any seat in the classroom. The other advantage of a projector is the ability to keep it safe by locking it up during the summer. Your donation will allow all my students to learn while providing a device that will have over 22,000 hours of life. This is 20 years! My students are eager to learn and I am just as eager to help them learn to love Science.
