This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have the most amazing group of students with various abilities and needs. They are motivated to learn and are excited about school. I teach special education students who are in need of some items to support their learning. Organization and access to technology are very important in our special ed. resource classroom. We are in need of tubs to create IEP bins for our students' individualized lessons and materials. We would also love to have a touchscreen tablet/computer to give our students and teachers updated technology to increase engagement, independence, organization, and efficiency. My students are highly motivated by technology.
These amazing items will give our students access to technology, increase independence, and help develop executive functioning skills!
It is our desire to meet the unique needs of our students by providing an inviting and engaging classroom. We want to motivate our students to do their best and prepare them for their future.
