Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Science comes alive in our classroom when a beaker frosts over or a reaction requires the perfect chill—and nothing excites my students like a hands-on experiment that makes them feel like true scientists. But so many of these unforgettable moments depend on something we don’t have: a ready supply of ice. Right now, gathering enough ice for our lessons is a constant challenge, turning ordinary experiments into logistical hurdles and sometimes stifling our students’ enthusiasm. An ice maker and water filtration system would open new doors, letting every student experience the magic of discovery up close, whether they're testing how substances change in the cold or learning vital concepts through real-world investigations.

Our students are persistent, curious, and full of big ideas—they deserve a learning environment that gives them every chance to explore, experiment, and grow.

Your support means the world to our class, allowing us to run exciting labs that make science memorable while also offering students the simple gift of a cold drink after all their hard work. Every donation helps nurture future innovators, showing them their curiosity matters and their community believes in their dreams. Thank you for believing in our classroom, our experiments, and, most of all, our students.
