My Students
My students are the best! They come from difficult home lives and look forward to being at school. They come to school every day excited and ready to learn, and continuously put forth their best effort on a daily basis.
My students have a variety of learning styles and needs, and they benefit from working hands-on in small groups.
They love to learn and explore new topics and ideas. They enjoy doing projects and activities that require them to move around the room. My co-teacher and I use flexible seating, allowing our students opportunities to get up from their desks and work in areas around the classroom.
My students work hard every day, and constantly inspire me. They persevere through challenges and adversities whether they are academic or personal. They show kindness and respect toward one another. They deserve the best opportunities in their education, and I work hard every day to provide them with these opportunities.
My Project
iPads provide access to technology for my amazing students who do not have access to the digital world at home due to financial limitations. There are so many apps for iPads that can be tailored to meet my students' individual learning styles and needs.
My students are highly motivated and stay engaged when interacting with technology.
Students feel like they are stepping out of the classroom and into a new world when using technology. They get so excited to use technology whenever they get a chance. Having iPads available in my class will benefit each student tremendously. Technology allows my students to express their ideas and be creative. Help me help my students grow!
