it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I love my students because no matter what is going on outside the classroom - when we are in class together, we are a “family.” During this quarantine/pandemic, I have really tried pulling every bunny out of my hat to create engaging tech for them during blended/fully remote learning; and they not only understand how time consuming it can be but also they are so appreciative of it. On the other hand, the running joke is that I’m losing my eye sight from staring at a small screen all day... one of my scholars announced last week that I was the Ramsey of ELA; and in the same day, another student in a different class told me she loves to log in and join every day to see what new and exciting way I combined ELA with technology.
My Project
This monitor will make a difference in my students’ learning because it will help us with organizing and laying out the MANY and NECESSARY applications, windows, tabs, and documents we need during class - as well as, and most IMPORTANT, seeing ALL their faces during our virtual class. Presently, the scholars are working on small group projects. Not only do I need to keep track of their collaborated documents, but we were juggling breakout rooms and virtual reality scenes. The small laptop and iPad screens are not working rather smoothly to lay everything out in front of me!
