I Want to Take that Book Home!

My students need 9 leveled book sets, library cards and 60 take-home book bags.

This project is fully funded

I currently teach first grade in a high poverty area. The more access to books the more opportunity my students have to learn!

My students love to read, but have limited opportunities to go to the school library and local library. I have set-up a classroom lending library, but with only about 20 books.

Our classroom lending library needs more books, bags to protect the books, and library cards to keep track of borrowing.

Donating to our classroom lending library will empower a student to feel the joy of taking a book home that they choose. Your donations will also help with a school-to-home connection and more opportunities to practice reading.
