Help me give my students pencil pouches for easy organization of writing tools, along with other tools for independence, organization and engagement as they navigate a new learning pathway.
The students in my kinder classroom are students who get excited about learning and coming to school. They show great excitement and become very engaged when they are able to use manipulatives and other tools for hands-on engagement. Even though they are not able to attend school in a traditional classroom setting, they come into our virtual classroom happy and ready to participate.
Our school is a title1 school and many of my students may not always have all their economic, physical and social needs met, but they are always excited, engaged and ready to learn and can often be heard saying, “I love school!“
This project was created so that I can help to give my students opportunities to have many joyful and motivated learning experiences; with manipulatives and hands-on tools for learning and participating in learning activities.
At this exciting stage of their educational journey, giving my kinders tools to help support and encourage joyful and engaging exploration and participation is very critical. I would like to keep them excited and engaged while giving them easy access to learning tools and a manipulative rich, learning environment.
My Project
As I observe my kindergarteners in their virtual learning environment, I see the need to help them to gain organization skills, with tools that can make the process easy and practical. I also see how engaged and excited they become when their learning is hands-on with the use of manipulatives.
Pencil pouches filled with writing tools and other items for organization and engagement during learning, will help to give my kindergarteners even more incentives to be excited and prepared for each learning session.
