This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 20 years. I have spent the last 9 years teaching Kindergarten in an urban, inner-city school.
As a classroom teacher, sometimes the most difficult obstacles faced do not involve the children. Basic necessities such as copies for activities and homework is always an issue. Kindergarten classes do not have workbooks. I rely on Internet found activities or resource books that require copying. The office is not always willing, or able to fulfill my needs for copies.
I was very fortunate to have received a Canon copier for my class in a previous proposal at Donors Choose. So it is here where I come again to ask for further assistance with my dilemma.
I use my copier EVERY SINGLE DAY. Whether it be to replace papers done incorrectly by students or to make a newly found Internet activity, I use my copier quite a bit. So much so that I have noticed my ink is running low. And I have the copier set at the lowest ink level already. Who would think that ink would make a teacher happy?
