My Project
We are now following a Montessori framework starting in PreK and will end in 5th grade in a few years. We encourage student lead activities and fostering independence. The school counselor and I have been planning on how to make this work with our students.
We believe that having students take ownership with designing provocations, projects, themed weeks, and crafts will spark an interest in this design plan.
We decided to get matching tubs of different sizes to start the organizing, separating, and project plans. We have a small space to organize the bins so efficiency is key. The students will then get to use their STEAM brains and practice on the Cricut and design labels for all the bins. The can create them on the computer and then see how they can move their designs to the machine and print in real time.
