My Project

"There was An Old Lady Who Swallowed...."

It is my favorite series in my classroom!

I plan to use this in my classroom to point out rhythm, rhyming, repetition, and figurative language.

we get to laugh and giggle, while also learning about poetry, rhythm, and figurative language while reading these books.

In my class, I have 16 out of 23 students who are ESL, and I know these books would benefit their language learning as well. The use of repetition, and engaging pictures and words would help my students to not only have a good laugh, but learn too!
