My Students
The scholars at my school are the leaders of tomorrow. Many of them work so hard to use education as way to defeat poverty. Not only are most of our scholars tackling the challenges of poverty, but many are also learning English as their second language. They come to school every day eager, willing and ready to learn. None of my scholars use any of their challenges as excuses to succeed, therefore I work hard to give them every opportunity to help them in their journey to the top.
My Project
Some students like to stand when they work. Many students don't just like to stand as they work, but they need to stand as they work. Help my students by supporting the purchase of two cocktail tables that would help my 'standers' be more productive in their work habits. Many students need to be active and moving while they are working. This includes standing up. Standing while working especially helps many of the students struggling with learning disabilities like ADHD and ADD (attention deficit disorder). The 21st Century Learner learns in many different ways. Help my scholars that learn standing be successful as well.
