My students need a black ink cartridge for our classroom printer so we may print off our awesome work so it may be displayed.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Wilson's classroom raised $247
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students have diverse backgrounds and come from all over the world. Many students go home to speak a language other than English. Several are first generation Americans within their families.
Despite the many challenges they face such as poverty and a language barrier, they love to learn and to try new things.
My students have great attitudes about school and try their best. Please help support our classroom, so we many continue to grow and learn and become the best fourth graders possible!
My Project
I am requesting printer ink for our classroom printer. I have a class set of Chromebooks to use with my students, and a printer in the classroom in which to print their projects and assignments they complete. However, the school is not able to fund replacement ink for our printers. While many schools are utilizing digital portfolios so students and parents may access their work from home via the internet, due to the high poverty of our community, most families don't have a means to see their child's writing and other published work, other than a printed copy brought home.
The students are always proud when they are able to show their peers, families and parents what they've done in school.
It gives them a sense of pride and accomplishment and shows the growth they are making during the year.
Displaying student work also allows others visiting our school a glimpse of some of the great thinking and effort the students are putting into their assignments.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
