This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in a Moderate to Severe Autism Class is very rewarding. My students inspire and surprise me daily. With your help, I will continue to provide them with the best quality education. Our school is located in a low-income area with limited resources.

My students rely heavily on color-coded visual aids and materials.

Colors allow my students to stay engaged and alert for longer periods of time. My students are motivated to complete their tasks. It is rewarding to see the students' smile and show pride in their work and learning.
