My Project

My students are highly motivated by earning a 100% on their Iready reading and math lessons! To reward them for completing 100% they have chances for their name to be drawn from our 100% passed lessons.

My students write their names on a spreadsheet when they get 100% on their computer lessons, when the sheet is full, we do a drawing for 4 students to win a prize-- and fun stickers and fidget toys will make them even more motivated!

My students will try their hardest to complete their lessons with 100% accuracy so they will get to write their name on our 100% lesson paper. This paper has many squares and when it is full I will do a drawing for students to pick a prize.

Prize items such as playdough, slap bracelets, fidget pop it spinners, pens with fun toppers, and rubber ducks in different options.

My students LOVE stickers in many options such as Pokémon, Disney, animals, Superhero's and Super Mario, so this will also be one of their options.

Having these fun prizes will make meaning out of earning as many 100% lessons as they can rather than rushing through the lessons.

This will also help us build a classroom community as my students want each other to pass their lessons with 100%. On Fridays we look as a class at their time on task on the computers as well as how many lessons they have passed with 100%. They have a strong bond and it's fun to see their class community supporting each other while learning and having fun.
