Help me give my students blank books to write and create their own stories and additional literature books by their favorite author to add to our classroom library.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are 21st century learners who are eager to use all of the technology available to them! I teach 30 curious fourth grade scientists in a small, Title I school that has an amazing and supportive principal.
My students are eager to learn and their brains are sponges that absorb any and all information given to them.
Everything is a potential investigation or experiment to them, so I strive to provide my students with as many learning and project-based opportunities as possible. I constantly enhance the school curriculum and students' intrinsic motivation to learn more by infusing STEM correlations whenever possible.
Because of our small school size, funding levels are not as high as other schools in our area. Grants and projects like this one become an integral part of how I obtain resources to supplement learning experiences. I truly believe that the future lies in our children. They have virtually unlimited potential, and my job is to enable them to reach it.
My Project
My students are a creative bunch who love to read and write stories. This year they have fallen in love with books written by Judy Bloom and have asked to have more titles by her in our library.
Their wish is my command!
This project, when funded will add two more titles to our classroom library that we will use for our literature circles and novel studies. In addition, I am requesting bare blank books, because not only do my students love to read stories, they love to write stories as well. The blank books will provide my students with the materials to create and write their own student-authored stories. These books will also be added to our classroom library for others to read and enjoy!
