My students are in kindergarten and attend a public school in a high-poverty area. They come to school with high hopes of learning new and interesting things.
The kindergarten experience will open doors for my students.
The time to prepare is now so my students will have all they need in order to succeed in their learning experience. These students come from an area that lacks a lot of resources so I am trying to make this environment welcoming and pleasant.
Now more than ever your help is needed to ensure that learning takes place. With your help, I will be able to provide for my students all they need this new school year.
My Project
A well-run classroom runs better if the students have a place to store their materials.
The storage bags will hold their phonics materials- notebook, reading books, and worksheets.
This will save time and help the students know where to find certain materials. They will also hold their leveled books, a mini library for them to have handy. The folders will hold homework and other subject worksheets.
With your help, you will enable me to promote independence in my students and enable them to be more responsible for their learning materials.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
