My Students

I encourage you to help my students become strong readers and writers!

First graders are excited about reading and writing!

I have 20 students (10 boys and 10 girls) this school year at various reading and writing levels. It is very important for children to grow as readers. My students are eager to learn, energetic and curious.

My Project

I am requesting 20 Write & Wipe Lapboards, 2 headphone sets, and 1 iPad mini for our literacy listening station and word work. Students will be able to choose a digital book on the iPad mini and remain quiet using the headphones. Listening to reading is essential to develop a reader, and this project will help me establish a classroom of confident readers. A confident child is a happy reader in my classroom! The Write & Wipe Lapboards will help support the students during writing time, and they will be excited to write on and wipe off!

Please help our listening, library, and writing center materials become more useful and inviting.

The iPad mini, Write & Wipe Lapboards and headphones included in this project are exciting to my students. Students will not want to put any of them down!
