Help me give my students a variety of indoor activities and games they can use to improve their hand-eye coordination, stay active, problem solve, and stay safe as they learn new games in large and small groups.
My students are smart, creative, kind, and happy. My students are in that unique stage between elementary and middle school. They are trying to figure out what direction their lives are headed in at the same time as finding their own voice in the large and loud world.
My favorite thing about our students is how strongly their compassion and desire to learn shine through every day.
We are a largely middle-class school, and our rigorous curriculum standards demand an unrelenting pace and focus from our students every single day. We have high expectations and, to their credit, our students rise to meet those expectations every single day!
My Project
As the weather and Covid can often change and impact schools and our classrooms, my students are in need of new ways to stay active and learn new skills. These new tools will provide a means for my students to improve their hand-eye coordination, problem solving, and communications skills and stay active.
My class is searching for fun, safe means of interactions for both recess time and P.E.
I believe these items will help provide not only structured and engaging lessons during P.E. time but also allow multiple Covid-safe means of engagement during indoor recess time. In the Salt Lake valley with the season changes, inversion, and Covid risks, we are always searching for new ways of staying positive, kind, active, and engaged.
