My students need playground equipment out at recess. We have students fighting and bullying out at recess due to lack of activities out on the playground. Our students would benefit from having equipment to play games.
My students are fun, energetic, happy, and are eager learners from different countries around the world. Each student adds value to our school! We get to learn about different cultures by having different nationalities in our classroom. Our students are responsible, respectful, rigorous, and ready to learn. They apply their knowledge to achieve excellence in all that they do in school. We continue to provide materials to help our students continue to achieve their continuous education. We would love to have materials to help each student understand the value in education, and to create unity within our grade level at recess.
My Project
We have had problems at our school with not having enough playground equipment. Students become bored and then start bullying or fighting out at recess. I have involved males to be a role model for children without father figures in their homes. They come in and are watch dogs out on the playground in helping us organize activities for kids to get them involved in team work, eye hand coordination, and working together to create unity amongst other peers. We have been collecting box tops, but it is never enough to have quality equipment out at recess. These materials would help me to be able to come up with some plans for the PLT students in 8th grade to be a good role model as well for these First graders. Please help me create an environment that helps us build our school unity!
