My Students

Technology has forever changed learning in the classroom! All children love to work on computers and iPads. Using technology in the classroom engages students and puts learning back in their hands. When students are motivated they learn!

My second grade students are energetic hardworking children that love to learn.

They come to school expecting to learn and to have fun while doing so. They come from a variety of family types and economic levels. Our school is a Title 1 school which means that a majority of the students qualify for reduced or free lunch programs.

My Project

Donating to this project will put learning in the hands of the students. The iPad will provide opportunities for students to learn through interactive technology. We can use an iPad for small group lessons, individual practice, or learning centers. There are apps for practicing math facts, virtual libraries filled with stories, and countless ways of exploring and researching topics.

Integrating technology into the classroom helps meet the needs of all learners.

Students crave opportunities to use technology. They are excited to learn and to work using technology tools. We have to take that excitement and use it to our benefit. We can help students reinforce skills in every area of curriculum. The possibilities are endless!
