My Students

Just call my students tech savvy! My students love using technology to learn, but the problem is that our school district has had major funding cuts.

I teach in a low socio-economic public school district in Oklahoma.

My 18 first grade students love using technology to learn new skills and practice review skills. Our school district has been faced with many major budget cuts in the last few years.

My Project

My first grade students love to use new technology while learning. I want an iPod touch for my students to use during center time. I have found a lot of apps that reinforce literacy and math skills. My students will not view practicing literacy and math skills on the iPod as boring work, they will be excited and ready to use the iPod to practice these skills. I want my students to be comfortable using technology since technology will play a major role in their educational success in the future.

My students need new technology so they will continue to remain comfortable using technology. I want my tech savvy students to remain tech savvy, but this will be impossible without donors like you.
