This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles.
Technology encourages individual learning and transforms the learning experience.
I intend to create active learners through the use of technology. My Pre-kindergarten students come from a high poverty community that encounters economic challenges every day. Many of my students' exposure to technology is only during school hours. Therefore, my students will benefit from the use of technology to succeed in the real world.
My Project
My students are creative, energetic and eager to learn every day. My goal is to scaffold my students’ mathematical and science skills by using differentiated instruction geared to my students' learning styles. I would like to provide my students with an iPad station where they can use innovative apps to support their learning.
The use of iPads will allow my students to do their work independently when doing Guided Math in small groups and research for our Science Projects.
Every student must have the opportunity to learn at their own pace, and the use of this versatile learning tool, an iPad, definitely can accomplish it.
