This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work in a Title I school with many students facing good insecurities. They often show up in the morning hungry and have have a hard time focusing. By having snacks on hand it will provide them with enough fuel to help them focus on learning.

Several of my students have preferred seating that I am struggling to provide.

These seats will aid in their need for this. The seating will provide years of help for similar students. My goal is to have them all at or above grade level.
