I Have Nothing....Students' Faces Brighten With New Books!
My students are in extreme need of four sets of books for a class library.

My classroom is made up of 20 adorable second graders. I have 11 boys and 9 girls. The majority of my class are either Hispanic or African American.
Faces are lit up with books! My students are very eager to read, but they do not have a class library of books to choose from. Any books I have seen or have been given are old and torn up.
I've been a fourth grade teacher for the past six years. I do not have a class library full of books that would be appropriate for my second grade class. I would like to see them continue to be interested in reading, however, this is very difficult to do when I only have chapter books.
PLEASE help me. Watch my students' faces light up when they see and hear that someone is willing to help them get a class library full of books for their class. Listen to them retell the stories they have read and enjoyed through your wonderful help.
