My students need games, puzzles, and materials to help them talk and/or socially fit in with their peers.

My Students
Have you ever been made fun of as a child? I bet if you were you remember how that felt. Kids with Autism either can not talk, have poor language skills, or have significant trouble being accepted by their peers.
I am a speech pathologist who works with students from birth to 21.
Most of my students have special needs such as Autism. These students are mainstreamed to the maximum extent possible into the regular education setting but this is very difficult for students who do not talk or have limited social skills.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help the younger students express their wants and needs and to participate in basic play with other young children. For the older students these material will teach them the social skills they need to interact appropriately with others throughout the school day.
You can make a difference in the life of a young child by supporting this project.
Kids with Autism NEED visuals to learn. Kids with Autism NEED to be taught the social skills that most others learn by just experiencing life. Kids with Autism NEED your help.
