Help me give my students a safe place to store our life skills cooking items and stock the fridge with healthy snacks.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. A.'s classroom raised $441

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having a refrigerator with a freezer will help my students store their grocery items for cooking during our life skills class.
We will stock the fridge with healthy snacks and drinks for all my students, teaching my students about making nutritious choices.
By doing this, they develop their independent living skills like food preparation and the need for a refrigerator to store food. This is an important like skill in order to survive.
My students will be hosting and waiting on tables on their restaurant project which involves them cooking and creating menus. This refrigerator will help eliminate barriers of what and where they can cook and store.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
