This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My fifth graders are Title I students who don't always have access to hygiene products. Good hygiene is about keeping the body clean. In fifth grade, many students start to experience physical changes, including increased body odor.
By providing my students with hygiene products such as deodorant, soap, toothpaste, and chapstick, they will feel more comfortable, fresh, and confident.
These products will be given to the students so that they can take them home and use them there, or keep them at school in their locker (for example, chapstick and deodorant). It will help create a better learning environment in our classroom.
