Help me give my students Lego WeDo 2.0 kits explore engineering and the creative process.

My students understand that what they do and say matters. They know their actions can make a difference. I have a very sweet bunch of kids that need an active, hands-on classroom.
I teach at a Title I school, where English is a second language for many students.
Some of my students face adversity such as attending multiple schools during their elementary years and poverty. Over two-thirds of our students participate in the free or reduced-priced lunch program. A typical day involves 7-10 eager students who are excited to learn more.
It is my duty to meet each one of their individual learning styles, whether they are a typical student or one with specials needs. I have a wide range of learning abilities in the classroom. Although we have our differences, our ultimate goal is to be successful in and out of the classroom and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn!
As a teacher in the 21st century, it is important for me to keep students engaged and learning at all times. With the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Sets my students will be able to explore the building blocks of coding in a real-world environment through cooperative learning.
These sets will allow the students to create STEM projects with a strong focus on engineering by using LEGO bricks, classroom-friendly software, and a discovery-based approach.
These sets were designed with collaboration in mind, so having two will allow me to reach 7-10 students at one time. Each Core Set will assist my students to learn about computational thinking and engineering principles in a fun and engaging way.
These items are necessary to increase STEAM in the classroom & will allow my students to become more engaged in their learning. My goal is to assist them in taking ownership of their educational path. These items will allow my students to become leaders to reach their educational goals.
