So often, when students are first learning a concept, they loudly complain about how they don't "get it". With these tools at our fingertips, we will better understand fractions and our March unit of geometry which includes pentominoes.
These math tools will help them visualize the concepts.
I'm asking for two sets of each. Two sets of fraction circles and bars so as we start to add mixed numbers, we have the hands-on visuals. The current printed paper pieces are often misplaced, but I'm hoping these sturdier, larger pieces will be easier to manipulate and put away. I've also asked for two sets of the pentominoes so more students will be able to use them for understanding our geometry focus in March.
