Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help me give my alma mater the post-secondary plan celebration they deserve. As a PHS Alumni, the items I’m requesting will directly support my students in preparing for their post-secondary plans by providing the tools they need to succeed. I am asking for help obtaining a speaker, mini fridge, printer, and headphones to help our students obtain an incentive that will help ease their financial expenses as they transition into their post-secondary plans. These resources will help enhance their skills in areas like critical thinking, mental breaks, and communication, all of which are vital for their future academic and career success. By using these materials, students will be better equipped to meet the challenges of higher education and will feel more confident in their abilities as they move forward in their post-secondary journey.
My students are special because they are so full of light.
They are driven, hardworking, and dedicated to reaching their goals. They are focused on their future and are determined to make the most of the opportunities ahead. This project will help them gain the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in college or vocational programs. By providing the right resources now, I aim to ensure that each student is fully prepared for the next step in their academic and career paths.
