My students need materials such as thermal pouches, scissors, gluesticks, and paper to use for classroom work and projects.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning is fun when art and hands on activities are incorporated.
My students love to create and learn with manipulatives and games.
Using hands on activities for math and language arts has enhanced the learning of these twenty one eager first graders. These English Language Learners need visuals and kinesthetic activities so they can understand concepts and vocabulary that are new to them.
My Project
These materials will allow me to demonstrate and continue to create lessons that my students will benefit from. With the Post-it pad I can continue to create charts for our lessons and keep them posted for visual cues. The laminating pouches will help us conserve paper as I will be able to laminate the math games I create and students will be able to use their dry-erase markers to work, instead of making copies of the games over and over.
With our schools budget decreasing basic classroom materials have become scarce.
These materials will help to continue to enhance my students learning and understanding of new concepts and vocabulary. My students need visuals to learn and then create sensational work.
