FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Abbott's classroom raised $386
This project is fully funded
I am a 5th grade teacher at a low income Title I school. I am working on a project with my students studying different animals in ecosystems. I have found that our library is unable to provide the books we need in order to do any research.
I have gone to the public library and checked out books there. When I got back to the classroom, you wouldn’t believe how excited the students where. One boy, who never is really excited about anything, looked at me and said, “I can’t wait to get my hands on that book about Chuckwallas!” His assigned animal was so interesting to him that he was choosing to read during his free time. His finished project was amazing. The best effort I have ever seen.
I would love to be able to continue this kind of excitement about reading and need your help to do it. Having books that can stay with us in order to inspire and excite our young learners in essential. I hope that you will choose to help me continue that spark.
