My Students
As you walk in classrooms during 2014 you should see technology right? Well, that is not the case in our Kindergarten classroom. Every day my students say they can't see their work on the easel because it's too small and we have a whiteboard but no projector so the students can see.
My students go to school on the west-side of Chicago.
They come from low-income homes that want the best for their children, but don't have the resources to assist in their education. Since funding is low in the schools, the students are at a disadvantage than other schools. Our students need to have technology to grow and develop in this society. This is the era of technology and to not to be able to have it at home or school puts our students way behind. We need the students to succeed and become the best they can be regardless of where they live or go to school. Every student should have technology in their school!
My Project
Why not exposed our students to technology, which they will continue to see as they get older? It is so vital for our students to start getting exposed in kindergarten to technology than later in life. Right now they are eager and open to every aspect of learning so why not get them the exposure they need to grow and be successful in their future? By having the Epson Projector the students will be able to see their lesson on the whiteboard instead of just on a plain, dry-erase board or chart paper. Students get so bored of the same old instruction from the olden days. The projector will bring the students brilliant/vibrate lessons that they will be in tune to. The projector connects to the computer so they will be also be exposed to language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies lessons/videos online to further expose them to meet their educational goals. This projector will bring so much learning to the students, which will enable them to reach their educational goals.
By supporting this project, the students will finally be in tune to the new age of technology that they haven't experience before in the classroom.
This projector will give the students a whole new perspective on learning. They will be given daily lessons that they will be totally engaged in as well as learn more exciting things from the Internet being connected to the projector.
